Yes, and the Township sends us plenty of them. Older pickups, flat decks and work vehicles that have spent their lives on acreage are entirely normal for us. Agricultural use and high mileage do not write a vehicle off — what we are actually assessing is the drivetrain, the frame, whether it still runs, and what the body and bed look like. You do not need to clean it out or make it presentable first.
Yes, with a heads-up. Several hundred metres of gravel access is common on Aldergrove and Otter District properties, and it is perfectly manageable — but it affects how we plan the job, particularly for a vehicle that does not roll. Tell us the approximate distance from the road, the surface, and whether there is anywhere for a deck truck to turn around. In winter, also tell us how soft the ground gets, because that can change the answer entirely.
Usually yes, and it is worth asking. Rural properties often accumulate several vehicles over the years, and clearing them together is more efficient for everyone. Quote all of them at once and we will arrange equipment for the whole job rather than sending someone three times. Each vehicle still needs its own transfer form signed and its own plates removed, so have the registration for each one ready.
No. Both Langley City and Langley Township, Aldergrove and Fort Langley included, are inside our free pickup area, and there is no distance charge and nothing deducted from the offer. Aldergrove and Fort Langley sit at the eastern edge of where we operate, so the one thing worth doing is booking with a bit more notice — we cannot always fit the far end of the Township into a same-day slot.
