The key question is who signs. If your parent is able to sign the ICBC transfer form themselves, that is simplest — you can handle everything else and they just sign at collection with their ID and registration to hand. If they cannot, you will need documented authority to act on their behalf, such as a power of attorney, and we will want to see it. Raise this when you request the quote. It is much better sorted in advance than discovered at the kerb.
Often yes, and it is worth telling us the actual odometer reading rather than assuming age has settled the matter. Age and mileage are genuinely different factors. A long-owned, low-mileage, regularly serviced car is a better vehicle than the same model with triple the kilometres, and the offer should reflect that. If you have service records, mention them.
